Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar (1891-1956) envisioned a society based on liberty, equality, fraternity and manuski (Manuski is a Marathi word used by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and it stands for humanity, humanness and respect for fellow human being). Manuski project is dedicated to realise the vision of a new society based on Manuski. Manuski is the name of interrelated projects dealing with leadership of the Dalits, transcending caste barriers, Dalit women issues, human rights advocacy and campaining and alliance building with like minded organisations. The main interventions of the Manuski project are in the following areas:
1. Transcending caste barriers through Social Develeopment Program
2. Fighting social discrimination through legal and constitutional ways
3. Developing Dalit Women leadership
4. Sustainability of the social projects and building solidarity amongst the individuals and organsations
